The Lowry use an iBase DAM system for the management of their large collection of digitised images, and for making them available and searchable internally.
The Lowry is home to the world's largest public collection of paintings and drawings by LS Lowry. A large selection is on display in a permanent exhibition alongside other works on loan from private collections across the UK.
System managers and editors upload images and digitised documents, adding descriptive metadata as required to make it easy for users to search and find what they want.
Searching options include Quick Search, subject search, keyword search, search by collection.
